SUPERIOR IMAGE QUALITY
Using Active Threshold setting users can create consistently high-quality images when batch scanning all types of documents, whether they have different background colours, patterns or contain feint text. Images can be processed without the need to change settings, and automatically adjusts image brightness to render crisp, clear scans that are optimised for further OCR or data extraction processing, and with smaller file sizes. Several other image processing features are included to further enhance quality and performance, including text orientation recognition auto colour detection, skip blank page and multi-stream processing.

RELIABLE AND FLEXIBLE
The DR-G2 Series models have a robust paper feed system for smooth efficient batch scanning of a wide variety of media types, including handling both thick and thin documents , business cards, up to 5.5m long and even up to A1 size documents (folio mode setting). For enhanced reliability, staple detection sensors are also incorporated to help prevent any damage to documents, while a continuous manual feeding mode allows convenient controlled feeding to users when handling difficult documents. Lockable paper side guides also ensure smooth, productive scanning.

USER FRIENDLY
Designed with users in mind, featuring a front feed/u-turn paper path for a convenient operation. Combined with the positioning of the control panel, its ergonomic design allows users to load, feed and remove documents from a comfortably seated position – maximising job productivity and minimising worker fatigue. The intuitive control panel, with clear message display screen and keys to launch pre-defined scan jobs has been incorporated to make it easy and simple to use.

INTUITIVE AND EASY-TO-USE SOFTWARE
With Canon’s CaptureOnTouch Pro it is quick and simple to achieve premium quality results. Scan to multiple file formats including PDF, PDF-A, TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PPTX, DOCX and XLSX; send images directly to various destinations including shared folders, cloud applications, email and secure FTP. Setup scan jobs for your routine scanning tasks using pre-configured settings supporting simple one touch job button scanning. The software includes powerful and accurate OCR processing that supports multiple languages, and includes barcode and 2D code processing with automated batch splitting and file naming. Export important meta data (XML/JSON) information to smoothly integrate into your business workflow applications.

NETWORK CONNECTIVITY
The DR-G2110 and DR-G2140 models come with both a USB and LAN interface allowing users to scan directly over the network. Select any connected computer from the scanner’s operation panel and perform scanning. Scanning can also be executed from any computer sharing the scanner via the network. You can save scanned data to specified storage locations, attach scanned data to emails for sending, and perform various scanning operations according to the scan settings configured on each computer.

REDUCE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
All the imageFORMULA DR-G2 series models have EPEAT Gold certification*, meeting the most demanding set of criteria for sustainability. The scanners are highly energy efficient with low energy consumption, and manufactured using high level or recycled materials with also all packaging materials being recyclable. The scanners are produced in Japan, where Canon received the ESG certification from SGS, demonstrating Canon’s commitment to environment, social and governance responsibilities.
