The Image Access WideTEK 36F is a professional large-format flatbed scanner designed for archives, libraries, engineering departments, reprographics services, and other organisations digitising oversized or specialised materials. It supports documents up to 36 × 24 inches (915 × 610 mm), providing a scanning area 11% larger than DIN/ISO A1.

The scanner captures a full-colour image at 600 dpi in less than six seconds and offers a maximum scanner resolution of 1200 × 1200 dpi. Three CIS cameras and precision stepper motors support accurate image capture and fine detail reproduction. Its anti-reflective, scratch-resistant glass plate provides a durable scanning surface for materials such as maps, technical drawings, photographs, artwork, and printed documents.

The WideTEK 36F uses Image Access Scan2Net technology for network-based scanning and integration into existing workflows. It can be operated through a standard web browser, an optional 21-inch touchscreen, or compatible mobile devices. Automatic cropping, deskewing, and virtual rescanning help simplify image processing, while support for PDF, PDF/A, TIFF, and JPEG formats allows digitised files to be used across different applications.

The scanner supports image quality requirements aligned with ISO 19264-1 Level A, Metamorfoze, and FADGI 4-star guidelines. This makes the WideTEK 36F suitable for professional digitisation projects where capture speed, accurate detail reproduction, and consistent image quality are important.
