The Image Access BookTEK® 5 V2 is designed for libraries, archives, museums, cultural institutions, and other organisations that need a flexible solution for digitising books and bound materials. Its modular design allows organisations to select a configuration that matches their current requirements and upgrade the system as their needs develop.

The Basic model provides the core scanning functionality. The Kiosk version adds Scan2Pad for operation from compatible mobile devices through a Wi-Fi hotspot. The Professional version offers resolution up to 600 dpi and a client interface for integration with third-party software.

The book cradle supports 180° flat scanning and 120° V-shaped scanning for materials that should not be fully opened. Its magnetically coupled sides can be adjusted to position the book fold consistently. A 21-inch Full HD multitouch screen provides operation and image preview, while an additional matrix camera supports live positioning before scanning.

The BookTEK® 5 V2 supports PDF, PDF/A, JPEG, TIFF, and multipage files. It is designed to meet FADGI 3-star, Metamorfoze Light, and ISO 19264-1 Level B image-quality criteria.
