The Image Access WideTEK 12 SPECTRUM is designed for organisations that need to examine security features, verify document authenticity, or capture detailed surface information. It combines ultraviolet, visible, infrared, 3D, and backlight scanning in a single A3+ flatbed system.

UV scanning at 365 nm captures fluorescence from security inks and other UV-active materials. Infrared scanning at 850 nm reveals contrast and features that may not be visible under standard lighting. The integrated backlight supports examination of watermarks, transparencies, and other semi-transparent elements. Typical materials include banknotes, passports, ID cards, certificates, and other security documents.

The scanner also supports 3D surface capture for applications where texture and physical detail are important, including Braille, fabrics, wood, artwork, packaging, and electronic components. It provides resolutions up to 1200 dpi for UV, visible, and infrared scanning, with 3D capture at up to 600 dpi.

In visible-light mode, the WideTEK 12 SPECTRUM is designed to meet FADGI 4-star and ISO 19264-1 Level A image-quality criteria. It is suitable for forensic, inspection, authentication, research, and technical imaging environments.
